Travelling in Italy
Italy is a European country with a Mediterranean climate. As such it is an ideal location for camping holidays.
Additionally due to it’s mountainous terrain and huge amount of coastline, the driving is awesome, so it’s great for TentBoxer adventures!
I travelled through Italy with my TentBox in 2024, and my adventures are outlined in a series of blog posts categorised as ‘The Italian Job’.

During this trip, I drove from the UK through France to reach Italy. Then having travelled down the West coast to Sicily, I travelled back up the East coast, to visit the Northern cities. I then drove back to the UK via Switzerland, Germany and France. A grand total of over 4k miles in my beloved little Mini … and almost 4 weeks living in my TentBox!
